Katie Reddin

Katie is currently studying Chemistry at Heriot-Watt University and has recently completed her third year of study. In the summer of 2026, she joined the Donnelly Research Group through the Henry Royce Institute to undertake an 8-week research project in polymer chemistry.

During the placement, Katie is exploring new methods for the selective modification of poly(amine)s. As part of this work, she is gaining experience in synthetic chemistry, automated flow chemistry, and polymer modification techniques. Through the project, Katie hopes to further develop her research skills and gain insight into the development of functional materials for future industrial and technological applications.
